Hi, I'm João Moraski

I have 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, working in startups, small businesses, and now in a large cloud company. My main focus is backend development with Python (FastAPI, Django) and Java (Spring Boot), but I also have hands-on experience with ReactJS/Node.js and PHP/Laravel and cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.

In my current role at Magalu Cloud, I design and implement event-driven microservices handling hundreds of millions of events daily, using FastAPI, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL. I also integrate observability practices with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and tracing, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, ArgoCD, and Helm. Additionally, I contribute to system design discussions, focusing on scalability, distributed systems, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

In my previous roles, I worked as a Fullstack Developer at Onsafety, where I led a small team, introduced practices such as unit testing and SonarQube, and developed core modules with Java/Spring Boot, ReactJS, and NodeJS. I also optimized performance with database query tuning and built dashboards with Metabase and BigQuery to support leadership decisions.

Outside of work, I also enjoy gaming, going to the gym, and studying music, I recently started learning piano and I’m practicing Beethoven’s Für Elise.

Also building AI systems, including RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and multi-agent architectures integrated with modern backends.
